Therapist

Marian House is currently hiring for a full time Therapist to provide psychotherapy to an assigned caseload of residents in the transitional program. Residents are formerly homeless women, most of whom have histories of chronic substance abuse, chronic mental illness, trauma, and/or long term incarceration. Marian House utilizes a team approach with the overall goal of helping residents achieve the maximum possible personal stability through mental health and recovery services.

The ideal candidate would be trained in at least one trauma-specific treatment modality (EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT).  Would also strongly consider a candidate motivated to complete training and integrate trauma work into practice, with support and consultation from our clinical team.   

Minimum Qualifications:

· Masters level degree in psychology, counseling, or social work.

· Current independent licensure , i.e. LCPC or LCSW-C

· A minimum of 2-3 years experience providing psychotherapy

· Experience working with clients who have disease of addiction

· Background in trauma informed care, experience with trauma-specific treatment preferred.
