JOB DESCRIPTION: FIELD COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

The Field Coordinator is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, scheduling, execution, project completion, and client satisfaction of assigned projects.

The ideal candidate will be required to assist their assigned Project Manager in

coordinating all contractual requirements and project specifications that include; but, not limited to:

  • On - Site Project Management
  • Ability to help build and deliver operational plans that meet program goals
  • Ability to mitigate the negative impact of equipment related issues, service and breakdowns
  • Understands the contract and the scope of the project. Works directly with project team to ensure the positive delivery of the scope. Schedules field staff in executing scope for the projects.
  • Create work plans for execution of work under the program.
  • Logistics
  • Support field staff in execution of work
  • Troubleshooting through water system issues such as low pressure, low flow, or water quality issues.
  • Work with the PM to develop, support, and coach multiple field personnel. Assist with the execution of a training program for field personnel.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of project activities, as well as risk and mitigation strategies. Ensure the Program/Project Manager is informed of project related updates, safety, production reports, project related issues/scope creep.
  • Participate in Customer Meetings. When needed, compose meeting Minutes and Documentation
  • Traffic Management Control Oversight

The candidate will work with their assigned project manager to help achieve their respective project management objectives. This position reports directly to the assigned Project Manager and/or Programs Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years work experience within the water distribution industry
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast pace environment
  • Experience shutting down/recharging water distribution mains, valve & hydrant assessment
  • Superior communication (verbal/writing) and organization development skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross functional teams
  • Ability to pass DOT Physical, background check and drug screening
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

This position requires being on-call with 24/7 availability
