Job Summary

Embark on an exciting career as an entry-level Events Assistant at the Chamber! This role offers hands-on experience supporting the events team, ranging from small meetings to prestigious award ceremonies. Join us in promoting unique programs, assisting with logistics, and ensuring seamless execution of all activities.

Environment: Remote for general support; in-person, evenings for Chamber events (3-4 events per month)

Responsibilities:

  • Event Assistance:
    • Support the events team in coordinating a diverse range of events, from business mixers, to trainings, to full-day conferences
    • Accompany managers to all activities, acting as a crucial team member
    • Promote events across all platforms to maximize attendance and engagement
    • Contribute to creative decisions, providing valuable input for enhancing event experiences
  • Logistical and Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Events Manager with logistical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth event operations
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings, including venue and catering, and handle payments when necessary
  • Meeting Participation:
    • Attend all meetings, serving as a second point of contact and ensuring comprehensive understanding of event details
  • On-site Duties:
    • Handle ad-hoc responsibilities at events, such as list management and guest seating
    • Assist with efficient event setup, dismantling, and completion
    • Ensure all branded items for events arrive on time and are displayed appropriately
