Job Description:

BK Lobster Baltimore is seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will support daily operations and ensure smooth administrative functions. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with inquiries, both in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service.
  • POS System Management: Assist with the operation and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system, including processing transactions and troubleshooting issues.
  • Data Entry: Input and update customer information, inventory, and other records accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication: Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and ordering office and restaurant supplies.
  • Financial Tasks: Support basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing events and meetings as needed.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain various documents, reports, and records.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role preferred.
  • POS System: Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
