Job Summary

Begin your career with purpose as an entry-level Community Outreach Assistant in our vibrant membership organization. This role is designed for individuals eager to make a positive impact by actively engaging with communities, supporting events, and fostering connections to enhance our organization's outreach initiatives.

Environment: Remote for general support; in-person, evenings for Chamber events (3-4 events per month)

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement:
    • Actively participate in community outreach efforts, establishing and nurturing relationships with local residents
  • Event Support:
    • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of community events to promote membership awareness and engagement
  • Communication:
    • Contribute to clear and effective communication between the organization and community members, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility
  • Support Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with the outreach team to support various community programs and initiatives
  • Feedback Collection:
    • Gather valuable community feedback and insights to enhance outreach strategies and community impact
  • Promotional Activities:
    • Contribute to the creation and distribution of promotional materials to increase community engagement and awareness
  • Social Media Assistance:
    • Support the management of social media platforms, sharing updates on community-related activities and fostering online engagement
