Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification Requirements:
  • 2 years of construction-related experience.
  • LEED certification or commitment to complete within one (1) year of hire.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to learn construction industry software quickly, such as Procore, Measure Square, Fieldwire, and PlanGrid.

Experience and Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a fast-learning ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project information to forecast material needs and installation processes.
  • Facilitate effective communication among internal and external project team members.
  • Travel to sites to observe work progress, document, and report project status.
  • Identify and track issues to resolve challenges and avoid claims.
  • Prepare, review, and process submittals, samples, shop drawings, and LEED information.
  • Maintain project logs and files, ensuring accuracy.
  • Attend project meetings and assist in reviewing subcontractor/supplier invoices.
  • Assist in procuring materials and subcontractors.
  • Support the preparation of documentation for client billings, including schedules of values and requisitions.

Salary Range: 45K to 60K
